I can at least give the MSX version credit for being well made and if it weren't for the janky feeling controls and awful checkpoint system I would've liked it more and finished it.
...THE NES VERSION BLOWS.

that was amazing. i never want to play it again.

This is one of the most unhinged gaming experiences I’ve ever had. I will never mentally recover. I loved it.

Very, VERY solid adventure. I didn't feel compelled to go for full completion but it was a very fun game to play, to explore and find collectibles in and such. A recommend from me.

First off, this is the best pokemon game I've played in a LONG time. It's designed so well, the game was challenging and fun the whole way through, and while my opinions on the new Pokemon are mixed, it doesn't change how great the game at its core is. HOWEVER. The technical issues are making me dock points.

Very much enjoyed this one, although the controls felt a bit off to me, maybe I just wasn't used to it, but it didn't stop me from having fun.

the fucking guttural, primal screech my brother and I let out when we saw slicers.

This right here, is my favorite Metroid game. everything about it just flows so well, 100% completing it wasn't even a chore, I had tons of fun doing it. Play this, please.

Still one of my favorite Metroid games, although Maridia really sucks I can get over it because I genuinely had a great time playing this again.

yeah no. I understand the appeal but it's so outdated it isn't even funny. I got to norfair before giving up. Just play Zero Mission, or that one rom hack idk.

I just.. didn't jive with this game. I hate how most bosses seem to be designed, and maybe it's just me not liking open world games much, but i just didn't like playing this game too much.

it’s games like these where I ask myself “do I want to invest more time into this game than I feel it deserves?”
the answer is no, by the way.

this game is being played at evo 2023 and it's still and unbalanced MESS! we gotta play our best! won't do any good. i've seen this before. you've seen this before?! eleven times as a matter of fact. cap, what do we do?! grabs joe WE'RE BONED! screams in agony as they're barraged by morrigan projectiles

Honestly loved this one. Aside from a few frustrating bits it was nice to see the story unfold with some incredible movement based platforming and metroidvania level design.

A pleasant, but short romp. I felt the controls were a bit, insensitive, and were a bit slippery but I got used to it. Also, clearly someone on the team was going through something when designing the extra mode because HOLY SHIT.
