Cool monsters, bosses, and the MC’s deadpan, wooden reactions to horrendous creatures is fucking hilarious. But the game is just too damn easy.

Fuck yeah bro. I love the shitty graphics, the jank, and a story that fucks up Shakespeare. There needs to be more games like this.

This game confused my sexuality.

They did it again. There is almost this finality to this game and leaves you wondering ‘will the Zelda series ever top this one?’ how can you even have a follow up act to this? But I guess I said the same with BoTW I’m looking forward to the next iteration of one of the most beloved series ever.

I have taken a long break from this site as my time has been stretched lately and the three games I’m juggling are expansive to say the least. The game has this design that makes it feel like we have still have good ole diablo, and the game feeling like it has its own identity and mechanics. I love the grind I love all of the diablo games and I wish I was some 35 year old dinosaur to experience the first two as a teen/young adult when they were in their prime.

Having missed out on the Wii version of this game and it becoming a game I forgot even existed. When it came to the switch it was an easy purchase and was extremely satisfied with the purchase. There were some frustrating ass dungeons, and fighting the motion controls was not fun, it would get to a point where I would have to switch to regular inputs. The rest of the game was a treat and the ending was so damn good. Worth the price alone for the last 2 hours.

That ending was really neat. Short and to the point. I liked it.

This game is really good and when it first came out it was exactly what we all needed. It was a time to drink and be merry. The stat system is garbage though.

Oh man. For it’s time it was phenomenal, I’m a little older now and tastes definitely shift. I will not go over the dead horse that is the first half of the game, it’s honestly flawless. I will instead review the main areas and the DLC after you get the vessel.

Demon ruins: unfinished bullshit
Dukes archives: boring
Tomb of the giants: spooky dark place. Honestly probably my most hated area of the game.
New Londo: I actually really enjoy this area and think it’s the best out of the four.
Expansion: really fucking good.

Anthropomorphic children manning a war machine XD didn’t beat it but after chapter 3 you kind of have already seen the whole game. It’s alright.

This is a tough one, I really had a good time with the combat, and the game is only okay when you’re not out in the open world. Which could have been remedied if they just took the repair bots out. I don’t want to stealth my way through the game because fuck that it’s an action shooter, and any time you try to do ANYTHING fun in the open world you are flooded with a literal armada of infinite respawned enemies, you will find out quick that it is best to just run through every area. It’s obvious one of the games strengths is the visuals but god forbid you try and explore to enjoy them. Oh and significant performance issues on the Series X (no clue how ps5, and PC handle the game) but for now I would maybe avoid the Series X port. Let’s get to the story, awful dialogue, a completely weak ass beginning, The bit with the underwater facility and the mind control was cool I guess, that weak ass bioshock reference made me wince, why the hell was that even in the game? Anyways I didn’t pay a whole lot of attention to it because of how shit it is.

I honestly think it was a valiant effort of the team, and in a certain light I can see someone really enjoying themselves and appreciate the game, but that ain’t me. I’m sure their next game will make this one look like a poop stain in their catalog or something to that effect.

Pros: neat take on a dystopia with whacky shit around every corner. Good graphics.
Combat especially with the shotgun feels satisfying and the way the robots dismember adds to that. And… yeah, that’s all the game really has going for it.

Cons: dialogue is awful, story is somewhere between ‘hey that’s kind of interesting to a complete boring travesty.’ Most of the bosses are forgettable. Beautiful hub world that’s ruined by infinite enemies. And that ending was terrible.

I haven’t beat this one in over 9 years it was so neat to come back and experience this game again. The first half is very solid, however that second act though feels a bit rushed and unfinished. Still it’s a game I think every teenager should at least try.

This was my second play through.

Wow I really like this game, I can’t really explain why. It’s only fault is that there is not a lot of incentive to multiplayer especially on release. The covenant system in the old games gave you a reward system and incentive to play MP these fuckers didn’t even have a leaderboard for pvp or barely any reward to co op it’s just not the same because of that. That is what holds me back from giving a perfect score.

What’s there to review really? If one dimensional push joystick and win games are your thing knock yourself out. I can’t play more than two runs in this game without getting bored to tears, or a deep sadness when you realize that a dumb game like this is loved by many… kind of shows you how depressing the state of triple A gaming has become.
