fun and creative puzzle game but man that last section drags on a bit

my favorite mario game and it's not even a competition

sonic with a sword was too kino of an idea to have never been used again

100% one of the best games Nintendo has ever released it's a huge shame that it's forced to rot on the 3ds with such an uncomfortable control scheme.

maybe im just a freak but i love the potion gameplay. messing with different combinations is so fun to me, and its got the best ending of all the campaigns.

first fighting game I was actually interesting in learning. pure kino for a guy like me who has loved dragon ball since I was a kid. wish there a bit more visual variety in the stages weirdly enough.

not sure if i could ever quite articulate just how much i love this game.

if i had to choose any game to wipe from my memory and play for the first time again it would likely be this one. theres something so captivating about exploring hallownest, a ruined kingdom where you are given enough breadcrumbs to piece together where to go and what happened to the kingdom in the past. I love discovering every secret Hallownest had to offer, while listening to the incredible soundtrack that paired well with every environment (my favorite environmental tracks were probably from the queen’s garden or the soul sanctum).

boss fights are the highlight, with each boss offering a ton of challenge while not being impossible to overcome. it feels incredibly satisfying to memorize boss patterns and perfect your charm set until you finally succeed. nightmare king grimm in particular took me a ton of tries to accomplish, but it was easily my favorite fight in the game.

truthfully i believe this is my favorite game of all time. i played it for the first time at just the right point in my life, and its left a lasting impact on me every since. team cherry achieved something great here, and i am very much excited to see how far they can take Silksong.

good summer vibes tho some of it is frustratingly designed. can't help but love it for how well realized isle delfino is and how unique the gameplay is for 3D mario.

if it had like maybe 3 more boards it would be perfect

green hill and starlight zones were fun. everything else mmmm not so much sadly!

truthfully this is peak kirby, and a must play if you're a fan of this series. the robobot armor pairs so well with the themes and aesthetics of this game and the flow from kirby to robobot back to kirby and the associated puzzles remained consistently exciting and refreshing. great music, the best copy abilities, strong world/level themes; it does not get better than this.
