The story is not out of the ordinary, I mean okay, in the end you put things together and that's fine, and the game itself was fun because you had to be careful and you had to learn the enemies... but there were instances in which it was no longer a matter of having to be more agile or parrying or covering yourself better, it was more about the game tosssing enemies expecting that, that alone, could be treated as making the scenario harder...

When I was a kid, i remember playing Final Fantasy 4 and Final Fantasy 6 without any knowledge on what to do or how the game was supposed to play (turn based RPGS). Neither my english was so good at the time but, kinda got the ropes of what was going on based on what events that went through the game. I didn't completed them and just, left that in the past.

Now at 25 years old, I was interested on Final Fantasy 9 just because of one track that I heard one time on a video that right now I can't remember and, I am really glad I picked up Final Fantasy 9.

Waiting for your bar to allow you to attack reminded me to the classic that it was Chronno Trigger and while in some instances it got me sighting because of my party members dying because I was not more stronger than the other enemy on some times, I have really been liking what the game has thrown to me.
Each of the characters starts believing or behaving in a certain manner and after events that the party members go through, the mentality and behaviour changes in a more reflective way in each of their cases(with Quina is debatable in some sort in my opinion), and I really enjoyed how each character surpassed the struggle that they personally had.

Music didn't had me angry nor bored at any time.

Gaining abilities through your weapons is a curious thing, I mean...one would expect to gain abilities by leveling up only and while that isn't an issue, nor gaining the abilities with the armors and weapons that you have. Granted, you have to grind monsters and the Ability points that you gain do not help when some characters need a huge amount of AP to gain abilities, but it isn't THAT grindy (or at least in comparison with how it feels in other games).

From all the different subjects to take in consideration on this game, the art direction is the strongest of all. Pixelart on this game is not only beautiful but fluid as well. The characters can communicate what they are saying and looking under a certain emotion or tought that really correlates from the look with the dialogue. Side characters like Alva, Isabel and other people that you meet through the adventure, are the ones who really shine between the cast. Story is probably the weakest(specially with some doubts that ended up staying with me after going through the game) but, I think it was enjoyable with all the things considered.

Fun to play with one of my College friends. Ton of laughter and start of local memes.

Good music to vibe with, bosses that have different patterns making the experience not repetitive, funny moments and unironically, a plot that is mixed between the reality of the underworld having ties with sports and the fantasy of a duck beating up other fighters.

Wanted to get the whole Pato Tokens but got lazy about it.

"Have you seen a little girl with black hair?" What started the great franchise that Silent Hill is. I felt sad for some characters thats for sure.

It is refreshing to come back to a pixel-art beat em up like this. Lovable pixelart and easy combos to make. The time flies but you never realize it because you have fun going through it

Good to play along with a friend, specially with all the jokes we did through the completion of this game. Chris suffered more than Leon!

There were some memes, and there were some moments that seemed like it would last forever...but this has to be my favorite Metal Gear out of the rest that I have played

Charming, specially when you know how they made it. Lovable click and point adventure that should be played through the different players of the world through different eras .

They touch some subjects but never go deep on them, nonetheless, the gameplay is the best out of the Persona games.

Definetly one hell of a experience, never have ever played the game and OH BOY...surely it was something, specially along with friends that knew what was going to happen.

I really, really never tought James backstory and James plotwist was going to happen, and with all the things that you see with the characters and the background that it is aroud them?...it really hits you.

Some segments were creepy, like that damn wheelchair and that last section of the game but...I don't know...no idea why it didn't "hit" just like the previous entry...

This game deserves more love. It leaves you to a downspiral of creepyness with what the bad guy wants to accomplish and with the things you have to encounter

The fact that you need a guide so you can complete the side temples that are found on Amala?...Yeah... But hey, even though some bosses were unfair, I had a sense of relief when I kicked their ass
