Sekiro does so many great thing for the studio: it’s basically the first soulslike that plays in an asian setting. Did I say soulslike well actually it’s a game that has a closer relation to the character action genre. And thats a good thing for me. It plays also very fast with additional moving options in the world and combat like running, jumping and using your mechanic ancient batclaw. At first I didn’t understand what the game wanted me to do (second fight against Genichiro) because I was reflecting the attacks but not realising that I had to punish after a perfect reflect…well took some additional time to get into but when the fightig system works - it easily competes with some of the best the genre hast to offer, the multiple endings - great. Various skills and upgrades, pretty good.
Replaying bosses and adding boss rush - wow that’s a first one and I adore this change which was added via update. If you’re hardcore about DS you may feel like there isn’t as many bosses to beat or that the lore is more included in the cutscenes and the dialogue. But I mean I still think that this is a masterpiece. Meeting King Fisher and some other would’ve been nice in a DLC that never came but I’m already doing injustice by nitpicking this hard.

Cotton Reboot made it’s way to my heart, the cute premise along with the interesting magic management is a lot of fun test your preferences in a Shmup. I feel like this is one of the better introductory ones out in the west. Will return to hone my skills and improve on my score.

Ladies and Gentlemen the rouge like 2d game the world has been waiting for. The original isaac was already pretty good but rebirth gives it the polish of a top tier game, the additional dlcs are humongous and worht it. I just can pause this come back and continue whenever I feel like it theres plenty to unlock, fun challenges and an absurd amount of synergies between the items. I never feel like I’m done, neither do I get enough, thats rare.

A rouge like deck builder with very clever design, several characters and ascension mode for the extra hours to put in. I’ve put probably 500 hours and am barely mastering one out of the four characters. It’s just a fun time. Love it.

I love this Game(franchise), dude how come Mario RPGs are so engaging and fun and literally rival top tier rpgs?
The mixture of humour and turn based system with a twist - such an amazing feast for the player. Bean Kingdom is an fantastic new locale and the amount of original characters you got is mesmerising. I can heavily recommend this one also played the 3ds remake which is a good remake with quality of life features and a slightly better pacing?(perhaps) this is a classic nevertheless and I come back for more annually.

The Second FE Game on the GBA and it’s kinda great, the characters klick slightly less this time and I don’t like the fact that you can have a infinite amount of grind which puts away some of the fun to balace the experience for me. But I think some might enjoy this even more. It’s just slightly behind FE6 and FE7 for me.

This is my favourite FE-Game because it was my first and the characters grew on me a lot. Eliwood, Hector and Lynn are such cool and different Lords. I kinda wish the Tutorial could be skipped on a fresh save file but nevertheless an amazing game I just keep returning to and challenging myself with Hector Hard Mode. But I have a big problem this is a GBA game, which the card ridge is not obtainable, since the shout down of the WiiU Shop you cannot buy this game, hope you are willing to pay a subscription fee because that what gaming and nintendo has become.

Another SNES classic, this time Yoshi saves the day and literally carrying Mario on his back. The collectibles add such a cool completion vibe, the colours and design are also very unique and unseen before. I hold big chunks on this game, even though the series never got as good as the original.

What an amazing mario jump n run on handheld. The world design is fantastic, the developers never reached a creative level since. The music is bangers and I just like how much love this game clearly has gotten.

I remember trading this game for a bugs bunny game. I regret this till this day. Another Mario sellout game like the doki doki panic one. And you can tell they forgot to put the fun into this one.

Really good Mario, but I wish it wouldn’t focus so much on secret endings and more of the depth the gameplay clearly has, overall a very easy Mario game trough out its runtime. The Cape is not as rewarding to master as the tanuki for me personally. But nevertheless a worthy game that should be played in the origial version or gba rerelease, not on mario maker they couldn’t recreate the engine there - sad.

I think this is the best Mario 2d jump n run. It improves on almost every aspect from the Original and has some of the best designed levels in the series. The Tanuki, Frog, Hammer Powerups are still unmatched even with todays games.

None of the good features from SMB exist here. This isn’t really a Mario 2d jump n run in mind it’s doki doki panic. You can not expect this to be as fun as the original SMB unfortunately.

What an amazing game… I overall think that Pikmin 4 delivers on many levels. I still am not the biggest fan of the following: loading times, dandori-battles in the main campaign, night missions, basically changed the past of the Pikmin story and being limited to 3 Pikmin types at a time. Despite the nitpicking great game but I would guess that many people get introduced to the franchise definitely check out the other mainline games as well.

I kinda like the story, but chloe has some horrible character moments that feel a little „too much“. Still worth playing if someone liked LiS.
