Did a full second playthrough experiencing everything I missed the first time around. This truly is the best indie Metroidvania and one of the best games I've ever played. The movement is so crisp, the combat is a blast and constantly keeps you on your toes, the music is amazing. Playing this game again has only made my anticipation for Silksong skyrocket. I hope I can play it in my lifetime :)

In the game's current state, I cannot recommend anyone to spend $20 on it. The potential is there and when the game wants to work it is very fun. The online is horrendous and really ruins the experience for me. Seeing unfinished animations is very jarring (I understand this is early access, but that doesn't stop other games in early access from presenting a much more polished and playable game than what Fraymakers is rn). I would definitely advise people to wait until the game is fixed to run better and more content is added

This was a fun game to play with a friend and it has some interesting ideas. Parkour system was cool and the melee combat was enjoyable at first. It eventually gets to a point where enemies take so many hits to die from melee weapons that you have no reason not to just use guns. The gameplay loop got boring a little too quick. The story is nothing special, but it did have some good moments. Felt weird that you can play the entire game with friends except for the very end. Speaking of which, the ending was a letdown.

This game has been getting way too much hate as of late. It definitely has problems, but I loved it so much I 100% it. I also had way more fun playing this game than Banjo-Kazooie lol

Got all 240 stars as a kid, loved it. Went back to it around 10 years later for the 3D All-Stars release and this game is still amazing. The music is so iconic and beautiful. The level design and movement are wonderful. Traveling to all the different galaxies provides such a powerful atmosphere that perfectly fits just how grand of an adventure this is. This is one of Mario's finest titles and possibly one of the best games Nintendo has made

I now know that trans people can double jump irl. Thanks Celeste!

I wanted to enjoy this game, but it has a glaring problem: for every good level in this game, there is a dogshit level too. Vehicle levels are ass and not fun in the slightest. Playing through this game was so unfun that it could barely keep my interest to finish the game let alone 100% it, which I did for the first 2. Game mid

I first played the original on Wii back in 2013-2014 and fell in love with it. DE gives a very much needed new coat of paint and it now looks spectacular. Many of the music tracks have been re-recorded and somehow sound even better than the damn near perfect ost this game already had. Xenoblade 1 has had such a massive impact on me and I've only grown to appreciate it even more by playing it a second time in DE. Future Connected is a welcome additional story that may not be as big as Torna, but is still enjoyable and refines some of 1's shortcomings. I'm glad Monolith decided to revisit the original game one last time and truly provide the best way to experience it

Not allowing the player to see the map at all times without wasting a charm slot is genuinely shit game design ngl. The rest of the game is pretty great

The best 2D platformer ever made. Rare fixed all the problems with the original DKC and went nuts. Each level is unique, memorable, and expertly designed. The soundtrack is perfect. Play this game right now if you haven't

Where do I even start? Zelda II is nothing but a chore from beginning to end. Enemies deal an insane amount of damage, the hints you get from NPCs are so fucking cryptic, the level up system won't let you choose if you want to upgrade health, magic, or damage, and the amount of backtracking you need to do if you get a game over is ludicrous. If I didn't play this poor excuse of a game on NSO, I would've given up just like I did when I first played it on the NES as a kid. I feel genuinely sorry for anyone who had to experience this shitstain

I had high hopes for this game, but it unfortunately did not meet those expectations when I played. Ori has interesting ideas and some solid movement...and that's about it. Not a fan of having to wait the entire game to get a dash in a Metroidvania. There were some sections that actually frustrated me to the point of having to take a break. Combat is a joke where all you do is spam one button over and over. The story was decent, but not nearly as captivating as some claimed it was. Overall, I wish I had a better experience with such a beloved game

This game does a lot of things right. Battle system is fun, the classes are interesting and the music is stellar. HOWEVER, when I got to that one part (anyone who has played this game knows exactly what I'm talking about) I lost all motivation to finish this game and have not come back to it since. Maybe someday, but not anytime soon

As someone who grew up with the original Xenoblade and has loved the franchise since the beginning, 3 is easily the best entry. The main cast is incredible, each having their own time to shine throughout the wonderfully written narrative. Combat has never been better with the various different classes and the ability to switch to any other character in the middle of a fight. The game isn't perfect, but god damn does it come very close. Although you don't necessarily need to play 1 and 2 to appreciate this game, it definitely hits harder if you do

Have had this on my backlog for a very long time and have finally got around to playing it. This game has become one of my favorite JRPGs. The characters, story, music, world, and gameplay are brilliantly made. Didn't think I wanted to play the postgame content after finishing the main story, but it sucked me right back in. Without a doubt the best DQ experience you can have
