I didnt have the N64 but friends let me play through these games so I didnt miss out. Really was an awesome system seller and it defined a genre. Its crazy how well Nintendo was able to translate some of its key games into 3D and get them so well and set the benchmark and formula on the first try.

I played the PS5 version. Was one of those games that slipped me by because I wasnt playing games for those years and I never caught up. So the remake was worth it for a virgin like me. I cried at everytime it wants you to cry lol.

I play this game a lot. Admittedly I use the warp pipes to skip most of the game but I love doing that to quickly head through stages. I recently did it in the video game museum in Berlin and blew some kids minds hah

Same thoughts as Overwatch 2. Because its the same game just a live service update right? Hero shooters are not for me.

For me the MGS games are all so great its hard for me to pick favourites. Again, the jump to PS2 and the use of the tech here blew my mind. I love the bait and switch the Raiden and honestly find so many things about him, both gameplay and storywise very fun. I am not equipped to talk about these games. God bless Kojima lol. I hope he scans me one day.

Oh my god this is so great. The birth of this type of fun. Exploration, action based Castlevania game. The design, the music, the 2D sprites. Everything is so cool. And then when the game is about to finish it just expands outwards with the reverse castle. Its so cool. Alucard is so fun to pilot

I have played this game a lot. It was the first Super Nintendo game I tried on consoles in friends houses and holiday homes and stuff. And also the first I finished. Started my love with this type of Nintendo platformer, which I still love today. This or 3 are my favourite Marios

Again, I am not a live service guy. Not massive on these kind of games. I dont understand the building really, but the core concept of battle royal and running around. Especially with the huge roster of guest characters is fun and charming

Another game that blew my tiny little head. Started my love with Kojima. Gateway to trying out other high production value, narrative Konami games like Silent Hill and diving into the gameplay of Castlevanias. This game did so many new things, and I know people just talk about some of the narrative and story choices but the gameplay, sound design.. so much of it is great. Love this. One of those games you can just put in and play from start to finish. Doesnt really have any dead or dragging sections.

This blew my mind when it came out, I was never a big valve guy. I played some HalfLife games on dreamcast. But as I was a big japanese console gamer and not PC like some of my friends I never touched them really. However this is when I learnt just how creative some of these games were.

I played the original Nier because when it released I was happy to buy any weird looking game with the Square logo printed on it. I ended up loving it, mainly for the deeply weird and tragic characters. But also for the strange mix of bullet hell and Zelda dungeon style gameplay. It was certainly unique.

Really not a fan. Tried to play with a friend and I just felt I could have been playing a fully formed full game to pass the time better. I find these kind of things very shallow and grindy. Also I just dont like this kind of anime.

I mainly played the Xbox 360 edition. Thats the one I finished and reached the bosses. So see my main review there. But yeah, Minecraft is fucking fun with friends.

First open world game that I loved. First maybe I even liked. The format has never appealed to me. Never felt like there was anything worthwhile to do. Somehow the entire world here feels designed for fun and opportunity but still doesnt feel linear. I dont know, no idea how they did it. But they did.

Hero shooters (or really any modern FPS games) just are not for me. I tried to like this as to play with friends but just nah. I do hope though that this slow move towards fast paced, health based shooters makes everyone realise what we yearn for... we yearn for Unreal. New Unreal Tournament. Please
