A true trailblazer that set the bar for all 3D action/adventure games going forward. The empty expanse of Hyrule field and sometimes wonky progression are certainly dated now, but back in the day stepping out of Kokiri forest for the first time was like stepping into a dream.

Art style may not be as timeless as TWW but this game is absolute peak Zelda. Amazing dungeons, story, combat, exploration, music, and characters as well as some of the best bosses and items in the series. And while the wolf Link mechanic may be a point of contention, I absolutely loved it.

This probably shouldn't be this high considering its lackluster dungeon design, wealth of cut content, and tedious fetch quest padding. But somehow despite all that WW manages to be fun, charming, and engaging.
5
The story is amazing but I hate just about everything else. Far too linear, unnecessary motion controls, and butt ugly graphics style kinda kills it for me.
12
A classic to be sure, but a poorly aged one. These kinds of games just don't really do it for me.
14
Honestly an insult to Wind Waker.
16
The complete opposite of everything that made the first game a classic. A truly baffling series of decisions were made here that very well could've killed the series before it even really got started.
