nah it just needs to be fun

re5 is prob my go-to co-op game, pretty shitty single player but that doesn't really matter here
cave story+ on switch has co-op as well, pretty neat, and rayman origins + legends have awesome co-op with the latter also having a small vs mode
nine parchments is another solid co-op one, and tbh? maybe minecraft would count too seeing as it's almost like a framework for a variety of other multiplayer games on top of its own survival mode
bloons td 6 has a good co-op mode, also death road to canada is great for couch co-op
