There's a HUGE thing underwater in Urdak (Not an enemy, though).
Underwater sequences. Very few, though.

Fuck this game. But it's great, helped me build some resilience.
Activating wells where the water goes dark, and whale scenes. Mostly very peaceful.

Only a certain part of the game where your character descents into deeper water.
Only a few parts of the game, nothing major.

Nautica planet. Other water planets are very peaceful.
There's a water section. You can mostly avoid the water if you don't fall, though.
You get flooded by a huge wave if you don't do a late game puzzle in time.
Saw a playthrough of it. Yeah, awful.
