This was the last Ninja Gaiden game right? Don't quote me on this please. Its a cool ass Cel Shaded Ninja Gaiden game focused on Zombies during the peak Zombie Craze.
"That's a BOTR title". It really is, a diablo clone starring the X-Men. Apparently at the time there was licensing done by genre for Marvel games, so activision had the rights to making a Marvel RPG. Also one of those games I feel you play as a kid but never beat as a kid which would be fun to go back to.
MAKE SURE IT IS THE PS3/360 VERSION.

I played this game before. I don't know if Ben has, but if he hasn't (and even if he did), we are playing this game just to break down what it even is.
When BOTR was conceptualized, this was one of 3 games that was immediately agreed upon. The other two being, ChoroQ and Mystic Heroes.
Be honest how many times you skipped over this on the store shelf?
Long as I can curve the bullet Imma play it for BOTR idc.
A JRPG about WW2 that plays with this weird tactical style. We both think its cool. Its cool its worth a shot.
A gorgeous game with some amazing music. I rented this game as a kid around the same time as FF12 but I got confused and gave it back. It would be fun to go back to it.
My one and only Spider-Man.
I gotta remember Ben doesn't like motion controls. The surgery JRPG
I saw a review say Armored core for kids and that made me chuckle. I forgot this game existed before the movies came out.
It's probably like 2 hours long, but this shit look cozy as hell. We might need it for a reprieve.
Is this even playable without streaming it cause that streaming shit is dead.
This is one of those rules of If I used it in a video to explain the podcast premise, we gotta add it to the list.
When you look up best movie tie in games this is always up there in the list, so we gonna see if it holds up to that, cause the Thing is a good ass movie.
the POOPOONUNU people!
A sequel only in name and setting to the classic cRPG from the 80s.
Midway's horror series about a prisoner with some weird monsters running around. It uses the same engine as Psi-Ops, which we are obligated not to talk about because we covered Second Sight.
The crossover that should've been the greatest thing known to man, but somehow.....wasn't
John Woo directed game that came out EARLY in the 7th generation. Surprisingly doesn't get that much love.
Season 2 Replay Award Winner
There are a couple other choices that we could do for a Star Wars game, but I feel this one is the one to play.
We don't usually cover a lot of Nintendo games. This is one of those you just gotta talk about.
Surprisingly expensive in the collector's scene. An open-world Spider-Man game with a Morality system.
MY Spider-Man is in this game. Into The Spiderverse before ITSV.
Before Warriors Legends of Troy, we had Spartan Total War. A Musou game by the Total War people, what could go wrong?
Truthfully, True Crimes Streets of New York is the BOTR title from this series, but I like my sanity in check.
A JRPG where you don't do any combat. From the summaries how gameplay is, it seems like an interesting title.
This is almost locked in at this point its just deciding when its good to do another Musou.
The weird anime tie in game that no one talks about existing. Back when Naruto and DBZ ruled the anime world.
I remember seeing my uncle play this game more than I remember anything about this game. It's a really cool looking game.
let us cook.
This is locked in. Everytime we look at the list we always go "Oooh thats a good one right there". I don't even know what this game looks like.
If we are going to use the OST we gotta play it.
Nigga do you see this!? Gun-Fu JRPG. I ain't saying no more.
It got 3 sequels but Sony just forgot about it. Even Killzone and Infamous got PS4 games but they just dropped this one.
No you don't remember it.
I gotta remember Ben don't like motion controls. The second game would probably be a better choice than this.
A shelf sitter. Weird that no one really gave a shit about this after the last game reinvigorated the series.
The PS3 port of one of those Vita Monster Hunter clones that bloated the catalog.
ID Software's weird shooter. I remember playing it and thinking it was only a little bit of shooting and a lot of racing.
This is the BOTR Prince of Persia game if there is one.
"Action Adventure" games are a dime a dozen. This one just fell into the sea of PS2 games to never be found.
I know little to nothing about this game but for some reason, it's a GameCube exclusive.
let it cook okay.
Season 3 Replay Award Winner
dude this is one of them ones you ALWAYS saw but never touched. We gotta play it.

Based on a light novel and recently got an anime remake.
I've recently played through the series, and Onimusha is still one I would go back and play again to talk about for the podcast. It's got a lot going on for it.
Bungie developed anime game. We joked that this was Ghost in the Shell one time, so I felt obligated to add it to the list.
I remember seeing so much covereage about this game when it came out but couldn't play it because it was stuck on the OG Xbox.
Season 3 Replay Award Winner

This is one of the Original 3.
This is one of the Original 3.
Muramasa is a beautiful ass games. I had it in my Top 10 just from the nostalgia for it. wanted to experience the game fully, because I don't think I beat it all the way, as well as dive into Vanillaware lore and development team.
Dude the fact this game works is insane.
Metroid game created by Team Ninja. Everyone hates this one, so its prime BOTR.
a Mega Man JRPG, do I need to say more.
kinda breaking the no handheld rule, but this was my first introduction into mega man, it was my generation's mega man. And turning it into a card battling jrpg is weird as fuck.
This is a weird ass game, once again one of those ones we always saw as kids but never played.
Mark Ecko, the fashion guy, makes a video game starring a fuck ton of celebrities as voice actors. In such game where you beat the fuck outta people and do graffiti to fight the dystopian government.
I'm not saying anymore. You know why it's here.
I'm not saying anymore. You know why it's here.
One of those hidden gem franchises from Capcom that started in the 7th Generation that was mismanaged to death. Unfortunate because it could've been another Pillar franchise, but that's a story for if it gets chosen.
The reason we would buy an Xbox
I feel like we could put every Suda51 game on here before we gotta stop and set a limit. They all are really the same backstory aren't they? It's really just the break glass if in danger button.
project drip drop ass jrpg that everyone forgot about anyway after begging for it to be ported over.
Probably the most Modern game we would ever cover for BOTR. I think ICO would honestly be a more fun game to tackle then the Last Guardian.
There is so much background to this game that would be interesting to talk about, but first I need to convince Ben to keep playing Final Fantasy 14 with me.
When we started ORC Co-Op, it opened the doors for other Co-Op games from this era just like Army of Two. Yet this one stood out the most for its really weird premise.
We don't really try to get into handheld games because that's another huge can of worms. We both have fond memories of this game and wanted to replay it.
a third person bond game not based on a game but starring the cast of the movies at the time. I remember never being able to beat the first level on coop with friends, I never actually played the single player for this game.
We almost played this instead of Lord of the Rings: The Third Age back during Season 2. Another strong locked in "When" instead of "If".
Red Dawn is a really fun movie starring Patrick Swayze and Charlie Sheen from the 80s. The remake wasn't all that good with the Hemisworth and I think Josh Peck was in it too? Idk...anyway Homefront is the same plot, so that's kinda cool. I think Turning Point is the only other game I can remember about a real country invading america.
She was featured in PS All Stars Battle Royale, and she had one game... and never another one.
GTA but in London from what everyone says, but I know there's gotta be more to this that just that.

The psychic fixed camera survival horror game that nobody ever mentions.
One of the rarer PS3 ganes. An interesting monster based jRPG that would be fun to dive into.
Season 2 Replay Award Winner
WE WILL PLAY THIS.
Was featured in the S3 intro. So its on the list for that. I've watched this game go up in price every single year and I don't even think there's anything super noteworthy about it other than FROM SOFT.
Ben did not know this game existed until we did the E3 Videos so with that we gotta play it. Warren Spector got Disney to make this horror filled Disney game.
One of those games based on the bible. Its a weird looking Action game that got a old school rpg style sequel on the Vita.
If you're adding Dynasty Warriors 6, you gotta add Strikeforce. I thought of the idea of doing both in one episode. This was always an interesting title. The fact that they really went all the way anime that the openings allude to was always a cool concept that I never got to play other than the demo on PSP.
The black sheep of the Musou series. Interesting to speak about with the changes that happened with 9 at the time thinking adding this to the lsit.
I originally had the third one, but i figured the 2nd game would be a more fun (and technically complete) game to play.
one of them ones. We gotta cover it.
A quirky adventure game that inspired 4 sequels. theres like a subset of people just like musou or harvest moon games that die by these games.
A later addition to the list. With every coming year Dino Crisis gets more and more justified for being on this list until the announcement of a remake or something new.
What if they made a digimon diablo clone? wait they did?
This one I'm still iffy about. For two music niggas to talk about the last Def Jam game ever made. It's only right. Me personally I would go for Def Jam Vendetta over Icon.
A lot of people call this a Max Payne clone...
