Games where I got choked-up while playing
I very rarely full-on cry while enjoying media, so here's a list of games that actually got close (or even succeeded).

Something about the New Donk City festival made me really emotional idk
No points for guessing which part of the game it was.
It didn't get to me when I played it, but I was in a call with my friend who was playing it, and we both lost our cool when she was reading Rosalina's Story out-loud (it was Chapter 4).

Haven't even beaten the game yet, but the scene where Flint... is given the Drago fang... got me.

This one succeeded
Only got chocked-up, but I probably would have lost it completely if I had played it as a kid. What's funny is it wasn't even the scene everyone memes about crying to. It was one a little after that.
(It was rough going back to the office).
