This is a really really good list.
This is a cool idea for a list. Personally, I'd put Jet Set Radio Future and Journey up there.
I really love this list/the concept of a Shenmue. Have you played Fishing Resort on Wii by Prope? It has an entire two-floor beautiful aquarium you can visit that has absolutely zero "gameplay" reason to visit as far as I can tell, but blew me away at its gorgeousness.
