The Vixi Log

A big master-list to jot out what I've played and what I plan on playing on my personal time as of the start of my reviewing hobby. Not every game on here will get a review, but they're definitely candidates.

Really digging the look and vibe of this one, definitely looking forward to giving it a go.
Of course I can make some time for Arzette.
I need to play this again already, it's been an actual decade.
I never did get around to trying a Jet Set game, but this'll be the next coolest thing.
A game I caught a lot of wind about and heard it was one of the better Pokeclones.
As a DLC, easy to slot into the middle of other things.
Start as of: 4/8/24
Heard some high praise for this game, and I've been itching for some N64-styled indies.
End as of: 4/9/24
Start as of: 5/20/24
Pre-Play: I've been thinking about this game a lot lately and wanna sneak it in there before I hop on TTYD remake.

End as of: 5/21/24
Post-Play: I'll come back to the postgame content later, but man. Suddenly have a newfound appreciation for this game now that I've played it for the first time in ages.
Another game/series on my "bucket list", and I picked it up for sale on Steam. I think it's high time.
I sure hope this one's even better than the original :3
Start as of: 4/22/24
Pre-Play: Oh boy.

End as of: 5/19/24
Post-Play: That somehow went both better and worse than I thought it would.
This is one of those games where I saw an LP of it first, and then stopped watching because I just knew I had to experience this one on my own.
Thought the would've been a pleasant revisit, but the game hasn't aged super well. That on top of emulation bugs isn't the best.
Felt like it was high time to finally play Katamari Damacy for the first time. Technically the first in my whole "bucket list" initiative.
Finally beat Tears of the Kingdom. Thank god there wont be another open world Zelda for a while.
Whoa a current game. Like sure, I'm charmed by it, why not.
Might be the finale of this "play some really old stuff" mood I've had. Probably one of the best web games ever tbh.
This is one that I'm definitely playing for reviewing purposes. I've wanted to do a review series going over every Metroid game, starting with this one of course, and I'd like to give it another shot.
A friend showed me a picture of Fishbo and I was like "I have to play this right now"
CURRENTLY PLAYING
Start as of: 5/23/24
Pre-Play: Cheating this one ahead to play it ASAP
Again, surprised this felt like it dropped out of the sky.
Been S-Ranking all the levels as Peppino in the meantime between playing other things
I haven't been paying attention but apparently this is out, so I best stick it in here. Should be simple enough to beat.
Shouldn't take any longer than a couple sessions, so I could stick it in there.
Stuck this on here the moment PLZA was announced. Might be time to revisit Kalos real quick to see if my middling opinion of it still holds true.
Snuck one in there in the middle of playing Elden Ring. It's okay.
Start as of: 4/10/24
Pre-Play: It's not a high priority game, but I could use something that's a little more vibesy.

End as of: 4/22/24
Post-Play: I dunno if it hit the spot for a vibesy game but. Sure.
GF bought it as a present so I aughta just play it now lol
Saw an LP and had to play this myself.
Another in my "down memory lane" mood. I think it's better than most give it credit for, but that's not a high bar.
Felt a hankering to go down memory lane with a few games lately, including Rogue Squadron here.
-*--First game of 2024.--*-

Since 2024 is shaping up to be a quiet year for me in terms of games, I'm taking it as an opportunity to play some catch-up on stuff that slipped through the cracks. I bought this, played it extremely briefly, and put it down to hit it later but didn't now. And holy wow.
Finally got around to beating Mario Wonder. Pretty good!
Was buying Princess Peach Showtime and decided to just go for the voucher method and got this too with it. So sure, it's on here now.
Saw it was on sale and heard a lot about how good it is and holy shit.
Really wanted to scratch a Yu-Gi-Oh itch. Dunno if this got it, really.
I forgot how I first heard of this. But either way a cute little high school lesbian romance VN is my kinda jam.
