I mean, it's my favorite game of all time, it has to have a perfect soundtrack. Every playthrough I start, when I hear All Aboard To Rogueport, I feel like a kid again. The excitement of adventure is fueled by that theme. Some of the greatest boss themes of all time are within it's holiness, such as amen break Bowser. And I can't help having tears in my eyes when those credits roll. Whenever life throws some shit at me, I know I can come back to this game and feel something again. It's good to have a game you can call Home.

I do not care for VA-11 Hall-A at all, I think it is for loser idiot nerds, but the music by Garoad is something I can appreciate and was the only thing getting me through it. Now imagine my feelings in discovering this guy made music for a good game. Everything came up Milhouse

Smile Venomously
Nervousness
Whiskey & Rhapsody

Easily the best OST in the Yakuza series so far. I mean, they got so many great tracks in this bitch, some of the best ones play once and never again. Running back to Sky Finance while Nervousness plays is so memorable to me just because of the song, I don't even mind that it's only played once. The anxiety that track creates while you're hustling back is great. And good god, the boss themes. Best Majima theme, no contest, holy shit man. All My Pride is my 2nd favorite boss theme in the series, 2nd only to Aizawa's theme in 5. And Smile Venomously is so good they use it twice. It's just hit after hit in this game that honestly doesn't deserve it, but it helps a somewhat underwhelming entry balance itself out with an incredible soundtrack.

I will never understand how Third Strike's OST is worshiped so much to where this one gets overshadowed. If I could just get Third Strike with this soundtrack, I would be a happy little baby.
Favorite Tracks:
All I Want
Them And Us

The whole selection is perfect. Beautifully captures the speed and intensity of getting someone somewhere very fast. All I Want is always playing in my head when I'm on a time limit while driving. It's just not Crazy Taxi without The Offspring.

The top comment on this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYug6Nz7QBI&ab_channel=MichaelHudson upload of Takamaru's Theme will stay in my mind for as long as i live.

"Beautiful.
Makes me imagine myself in the back of a truck being taken nowhere with my few stuff.
Looking at the horizon and the sky with the moon and the stars staring back.
Thinking about the world and the people that i care about the most.
But getting away from it all, despite them giving me their love.
All just to feel the freedom
Of a world with no rules or burdens.
Just emotions."

When a channel that prioritizes in uploading video game soundtracks gets terminated, I am extremely upset by the fact that thoughtful and beautiful, personal comments like this are wiped from existence. See it or you miss it. It hurts, but I'm happy I got to see some stuff before it went away. That's life.

Spook & Spell (Slow Version)

Section 9 Theme

Posers that claim to be Y2K heads wish they could get anywhere near as authentic as this game is with it's soundtrack. Hand picked deep house artists on an anime game? You just couldn't get that nowadays and have it be genuine. This was born in a time where sincerity was real and I love it for that. Break-core obsessed twitter artists with a blockchain side-hustle wish they could be this cool, but they've flown too close to the sun. A timeless reminder that before there were fake fucks, there were real fucks, that gave a fuck.
favorite tracks:

The dungeon music in this game is like what I want in my own RPG. Awesome deep house type shit. Some of my favorite boss themes in Final Fantasy, and games in general.
