… this seems pretty cool. I like how it applies a Fallout 2 sequel logic to Wasteland.

As a standalone experience, not great. As how combat could be in Fallout 1 and 2… better.

Really fun… until I glitched irreparably out of the map.

A cinematic experience, that I don’t think is very strong, loosely wrapped around a very simplistic and unenjoyabke game.

And I’m done! A cool ending. The endgame isn’t as interesting as it should be and the game’s quest design is never good enough. Fun fights though and a really cool map to be in, as well as a cool actual ending sequence.

Tried picking up a very old save… bad idea.

New playthrough was a great idea.

Soft locked myself a few times, lots of reloading. But damn is this game awesome. Finished it up and just so satisfied by it.

Picked back up on console.

Two hours of co-op. Fun boss in a story mission then wrapping stuff up. I hate the interface.

Finished it!! What an incredibly cool and interesting game. Just full of delightful oddness

Combat… not sure. Digging the rest though. I like the world and the presentation a lot. Early, early days

Finished! Playing as Alan Wake is kind of annoying but the highs of this are so damn high. Satisfyingly pulpy and always ambitious and interesting. Great video game.

I literally bought Alan Wake II and played an hour of it. I’m now playing through a remake of a game I’ve already played instead. I like Persona 3…

Fun rush of bosses. But... How much of this game is pushing boxes? Too much, I say. And the bosses towards the end still don't push things in too creative a way. Combat still shines, even if it could do with another layer of complexity at a point -- perhaps more internal variety.

Gets better as it goes. The stuff where you get to be evil is a blast and it tries some stuff. Laying some foundation for the next game with the tag in stuff, but not done well here. Still a very static campaign but I do like the mad story — character stuff lacking and we are with the B roster to an extent (though the A villains).

The first half is playing as people I don’t enjoy playing as… But the back half is great. Endings are a cool touch if too brief in execution.

Really satisfying campaign, dabbled more in the systems also and I like how this plays. Great game.

Played enough to get it. Changed difficulty stuff to make it more fun but it’s just menu menu stuff. I’m good.

The last thing you have to do is so annoying that…. I think I’m good.

World 6, unlocked special world and then beat the final Bowser world. That final stage is AWESOME. Amazing game.
