NOTE: This list has now been updated to reflect the 2023 expanded edition of the book. The editor added new sections on RPG Maker games, browser games, MMOs, recent fan translations, and notable RPGs from France, China, and Korea. (By their nature many of the latter are not on IGDB/Backloggd, but are listed in the notes.) The new additions have been appended to the end of the list, as they are in the book.
