I’m gonna argue for Street Fighter II because Guile, Sagat and Dhalsim are all married and their wives feature in various endings from many revisions of the game. Ken gets married at the end of the game too! SF2 is very pro-wife!

Shadow of the Colossus 100% is wife guy gaming. As is Max Payne and id argue that the missing jj macfeild and the island of memories fits too, but that is a bit more subjective. More subjective picks is Professor Layton and the Unwound Future and Xenoblade Chronicles.

Do the God of War games count? Both the original and reboot fridge the wife before the game even starts, but her death is the motivation for the plot of both games.
The Witcher 3 maybe, since by the time the game has started Geralt has overcome his amnesia and remembers his previous life with Yennefer. What makes it iffy is that while they love each other (or at least used to) and are (in my opinion having read the books) made for one another, the relationship at the start of 3 is rocky; you do get a chance to romance her and to make the two fall in love all over again, but you also get the chance to romance Triss. My two cents, make of this what you will
maybe the original god of war might count on some perverse level but 2018 is absolutely just a son guy game. TW3 offers the option for wife guy gaming at least on some level so im gonna include it
