i've been slowly working on a five fave games per year list (i think spreads are more interesting than single picks) but it turns out i haven't played that many (or at least that many i feel fine about including) for a lot of those so this is the 1/yr version in the meantime.

even so, a lot of these are sort of shrug or bland choices. im not a prolific gamer!
