Every N64 Game I've Ever Played - RANKED

S-Tier: 1-9
A-Tier: 10-20
B-Tier: 21-41
C-Tier: 42-77
D-Tier: 78-87
F-Tier: 88-90

Ranking this list made me realize just how fond I am of Gauntlet Legends. It's definitely not a BETTER game than most games on this list, but the gameplay loop is like a perfect grilled cheese for me. Simple, but sometimes it's all you crave.
I've played a LOT of Blitz. It's hard to separate 2000, 2001, and Special Edition since they're effectively the same game with roster updates and minor tweaks. The reason they're so far above the original is because they added 4-player support and the "On Fire" feature. Arcade sports are best sports!!
If you include time spent in the GB tower playing RBY, this is without a doubt the N64 game I sank the most hours into.
Anyone who says this is the best racing game (or even the best Mario Kart) hasn't played games since the 90s. It's okay, but the Battle Mode still shines.
4-Player Tetris was a REVELATION when this first came out.
Why does everyone think Mario Party 2 is better than the one with Waluigi?!?
Like Gauntlet, not a great game, but definitely a favorite. Did you know Sarge was voiced by Jim Cummings?!? I revisited this game recently and was shocked I hadn't noticed as a kid.
Uh yeah

I enjoy Wheel of Fortune more than Star Fox
Hard to separate these two, as my friends and I always played them both. There was no point when we had just one of them, so they kind of merge together in my mind.
Uh yeah

I enjoy Galaga and Dig Dug more than Perfect Dark
A truly impressive port of a next gen title! But there's just no reason to play this on N64 besides curiosity.

Be prepared for horrible, chopped-and-looped versions of the songs though

"AND DON'T FORGET THE JOOOOKEEERRR"
It's not bad or anything, it's just... fine. I do wonder why future games ditched the "every dresses up for the board they're on" mechanic though.
This game was way more concerned with being "funny" than "fun". Really charming though!
There were a surprising amount of 3-player games on this 4-player console
Turning off foul penalties made this one of the most enjoyable multiplayer experiences I've ever had, though it got old pretty quickly. But those handful of times when we were all constantly stealing the ball out of each others' hands have stuck with me for over 20 years!
My best friend and I were obsessed with this game in 2002. We played multiple times a week for over a year before we discovered there was a whole second game in here, no idea how we missed that for so long
This is really impressive for N64 hardware! And it's also really, really hard!!
So serene. As a kid, this absolutely creeped me out. As an exhausted dad, this is a delight... until it gets absolutely unwieldy.
Visually, this is the best shooter on N64. They put a lot of work into this thing! But nothing about the gameplay ever really pulled me in.
Uh yeah

I enjoy Jeopardy more than Mischief Makers
I remember this game being absolutely incredible in 1999. I used the trick manual constantly to nail every move, only landing a 1080 once or twice on "Big Air". I loved the Panda and gold/silver hidden characters. But revisiting this was ROUGH. Doesn't hold up for me.
It sure was wacky! We were in 4th grade and loved it because of how weird it is. Not really worth going back to today, but this was a riot in '99.
My friends and I would play hour-long 4-player matches because none of us could figure out how to pin anyone
