games that are very entertaining to look at and/or just look damn good. Actual quality of the game isn't taken into account. A game can look great but still play like piss (refer to Arcsys 3D games).
Realism isn't a factor, a game can look technically sound and impressive but still be boring and not stand out very much.
Not every game here I've played for a substantial amount of time so don't expect too much nuance.

shallow game but god damn is it striking as all hell. victor is prolly one of the stand outs, those visuals are visceral dawg
would put kof12 since thats where the sprites everyone jerks off originate from but this just expands on everything that 12 did so it just feels outshined and unnecessary
mostly for the fan stuff that outshined this
Not too big on the art style and character designs but walking around this game with the great soundtrack is unforgettable.
Mid gameplay but the area design and spectacle is fantastic imo
wario ware series in general is fun to look at

like watching an old childrens show on your bulky staticy TV at 5 am, huge nostalgic vibes. game struck a lot of very emotional childlike chords for me.
the most vibrant and expressive game in the series. once you reach a certain level of skill, the combat feels and looks great. look up a combo mad or something and you'll see what i mean at how batshit this game can look
say what you will about the actual quality of the series but danganronpa games always had a great sense of style and vibes. i can lounge in DR1's surreal hallways all day, especially with that music.
while the sprite work isnt necessarily super stand out, the speed of the game is just super fun to look at
as a huge RPG Maker nerd who knows the engine by heart, LISA is very fucking fun to analyze on how they made the visuals work. i could go on about the nuances of working within limitations of an engine for days, especially for rpg maker.
mainly later games but i have the most fondness for this entry
