Undeniably flawed, but manages to keep steady with a good script, strong catharsis, incomparable atmosphere, and entertaining gameplay.

the most unpopular opinion of all time: this game was not that good. yes, it has awesome visuals and fantastic combat... but what else? the characters are as interesting as a blank sheet of paper, and the story kind of just "moves forward" without strong momentum.

yeah, probably the greatest fumble in videogame history. a fantastic setting, awesome designs, and okay concepts absolutely demolished by shitting writing, forgettable characters (who have as much depth as a kiddy pool) and the most god awful ending ever.

I 100% understand the important GTA 5 has to gaming, most certainly considering the year that it came out...
However, it is not that good. The characters are lack any development and the story is shallow despite a very vague commentary on "America".
