This top list aggregates various other top lists of all kinds (general top lists, hidden gems lists, import lists, etc.) and combines them into a single ranked list.
There weren’t any strict criteria for the source lists, I just wanted to have a good mix to cover all worthwhile titles that were released across all regions.
Almost all Japan exclusive games in this list are either fully playable without knowing Japanese or there is an unofficial English fan-translation patch available.
I created similar lists for a lot of other consoles and handhelds, so feel free to check out them out as well.

The number of featured games per platform is based on multiple factors like the number of total released games for said platform or how many different games were featured in the source lists. 50 featured games being the minimum and 250 the maximum per platform.
