games i did not finish
these are not logged so here we go
games i played either for an hour or so or got nearly to the end but haven't fully finished over the years. i don't log stuff that i didn't finish, so this list helps me keep track of these if i eventually wanna pick one back up.
there are some games i'm forgetting bc i played a bunch of these when i was a little kid lol

407 Games
don't like it. played like 4 hours
pretty cool but i stopped at that mission where if you get seen they kill someone from the protag's family. i felt so much pressure i stopped playing lol
fun but idk never got that far into it
played half of this back when i was sick and visiting my dad's friend on his 360 as a kid; i remember loving it
love it but it kept crashing even with fixes
didn't grab me. will try again in the future
cool as hell but i kept dying like an idiot on a defense-focused mission
beautiful! the writing was not my style tho. wanna get back into it later
played 1 or 2 hours but it was very unstable on my abandonware install and i refused to properly fix it at the time
played a couple hours. one of the first digital games i ever bought! stopped after i discovered there was a first game lol
awesome first impression but i played for just an hour bc i wanted to test the source port
stopped playing a bit after the hong kong mission. i love it to bits but idk i got distracted by some other game at the time. wanna finish it real bad
played more than half of it in 2015 but dropped it for foggy reasons. probably bc i was playing a lot of dota2 a the time ;-;
really liked it! but i played it while visiting my family on my brother's computer and assumed it had cloud saves. it DOES NOT! had to start from scratch on my PC
played a couple of hours many years ago. remember thinking it was great
the first adv game i consciously chose to play as a kid. got a bit far but it's foggy. wanna properly play it now!
this one is cool. got more than halfway through it but goddamn my hands hurt a bit playing it on keyboard and i don't like how it plays on a controller
i felt way too much pressure cuz of the time limit. i was bad at jrpgs in 2019 so quickly dropped it
played a few chapters. really slow-paced and relaxing. has one of my favorite soundtracks and visuals of all time. it's really finicky to make it work on my switch pro controller.
played a bit ahead of 2 just to see how it felt. it's crazy and great but i have to finish playing 2 first
i suck and this game is hard as fuck
cute as hell but never committed to finishing it
i hate this game
if i play this for 2 more minutes i get an ending but i hate how this plays
prettty formulaic but fun and light to read. wanna get back to it!
when i get to world 4 my brain turns off
really like it but it never compelled me to finish it
looks real cute but i do not enjoy the levels or controlling mario at all
a bit too long and boring
really cool but i couldn't wrap my head around it as a kid
played this with a borrowed nintendo DS and had to give it back before finishing it. it was very boring
this game makes me sleepy
cool but i sucked and didn't properly understand the time-traveling mechanic. my first Zelda! i was a dumb kid.
there's a single divine beast (the lava one) left and then ganon, but i hate the little stealth escort part you have to do to get to the lava beast so fell off the game
very formulaic and workman-like. a full "product" but very empty experience
really love it but got distracted with Hexen II and Heretic II
played alone and with friends and got to mission 50 something. just have to coordinate some more play sessions
awesome but still on early access
remember loving it despite the boring visuals (i like the shiny walls though) but just played the early access. gotta finish it now that it's out.
intriguing but i didn't enjoy the yellow color palette
i suck and can't get further than level 4
played a bit with friends. love it but it's been years since i've properly talked with that full group
cute but a bit too predictable to keep me playing it
one of my favorite games ever! but it refuses to run (even with patches) on my current pc after i got a new graphics card!!!!!! i really wish the pc port worked properly!!!! aaaaaaaaaah i have the full trilogy on steam i just wanna eat those games up but square hates me
kinda boring but slightly satisfying
i absolutely love this to bits but wanna give it full attention
you gotta 1cc this one, there are no continues! i'm not properly equipped to do this with my current awful skills.
suck at it but it's fun
really satisfying and rich-feeling but it lacks a bit of friction to give me that hypnotic JRPG binge urge. those games need to make me a bit mad so i get excited to learn them
beautiful and interesting but the combat made me so bored. i already don't enjoy this early incarnation of ATB combat but here you gotta drudge through that + character skills that triviallize everything
it's dumb fun but it's really obsessed with it's own structure
i love this so goddamn much. it's bigger and more ambitious than even Hedon 1 but it's so HUGE and hard that i dropped it at least for a while
some cool ideas in here but the maps are way too big and unremarkable considering this game is structured similarly to an OG doom/heretic wad
fun and absolutely stupid but my friend said i should play disgaea first. got a few hours into it
not really my kind of shmup. way too rigid and puzzle like learning curve. i suck at puzzles!
i suck at puzzles + played it as a kid
i am bad at puzzles
really fun. my first management game of the princess maker sort all the way back in 2014! haven't given it a shot nowadays
it got a bit tiring even though it's short. that was looong ago as well
played all the way through the first chapter when it got it's first big discount on steam
makes me snooze
played the game's demo all the way back in 2013 and then in 2021 got halfway through it cuz i remember it being fun. it's kinda unremarkable but still worth playing through a bit
played most of the bachelor's campaign - about 8 days. dropped it cuz i got on a trip and when i got back i didn't remember what i had to do so i fucked up a bunch of time-sensitive quests
soft locked it after playing for 5 hours back when it was first released. wanna get back into it!
really like the art but the protagonist is annoying as hell. i get why he was written like that but his rejection is so formulaic
got near the end of chapter 3 but damn this is a long journey
played a couple hours. cute and beautiful but surprisingly buggy for a visual novel. it crashes!!!!!! what?!!?!?
played a bit back when i had an Origin Access subscription (now called EA Play, dunno if it includes the Ultima games). it was how i discovered the Ultima series and first got interested in it. really wanna finish one of those some day
played for an hour or so. surprisingly not that difficult to figure out considering it's genre and age!
played about half of the first level. it's awesome
played more than half of it, though it was with an old group of friends who don't have that much free time anymore. it was hard as hell to set up LAN coop with the abandonware copy. i love this game to bits! it's like a proto Star Wars Jedi Knight/Academy game but with my beloved heretic setting.
i knew Hexen 1 had a bunch of features that most other Id-Tech 1 games lacked so, while playing with GZDoom (my mistake), i assumed the game had a built-in crouch and soft locked myself inside of a hole somewhere in the first hub. i was a few hours in! i did not properly divide saves between slots bc i was dumb! should've just idclipped out
