my favorite games, or at least ones that speak to me in a special way at the moment, changed how i thought abt things, or are just pure fun to play. kindaaaa high to low but shouldnt be taken very strictly at all, may not have even finished some of these thoroughly tbh. grouping these by series/creator in some cases so definitely dont take those as hard rankings

chulip is my favorite love-de-lic legacy game but this is a very close second for its intense reflexivity and passion behind it that no other game has come close to
can go back and forth btwn this and smarty as my favorite theresa duncan but the conjoined minds of the dual protags in this one put it at the top for me
like this so much more than the other mysts its not even funny
my favorite suda game for sumio and the feelings it provokes
dropsys not as good as hypnospace but same creator n i like it alot
not the most unique or interesting opinion to have but this is my fav silent hill for its level design and pacing (it has the labyrinth). the others have greatness in certain aspects but i had them off the list before bc this is the most ideal entry for me
honorary mention for 2nd best sh though. the back half is good and is like getting chased by a guy with a knife
