The indie game market is constantly growing, and the last decade has seen more and more indie developers push the medium's creative capabilities to the limit when their AAA counterparts neglect to/are prevented from doing so. This is a list of the 50 highest rated indie games on Backloggd.

As with The Backloggd Top 250, the minimum rating requirement for this list is 1000.
For a game to qualify to be on this list, it also has to be categorized as both Main Game and belonging to the indie genre. I know the line between indie and not indie is constantly up for debate, but these are the games Backloggd considers to be indie, so that's what I'm adhering to.
