Platinum Trophies

Sorted by first Platinum Trophy to last.

I very rarely get duplicate trophies, but since I own a PS5 that allows me to play PS4 and PS5 games, I sometimes do. That's when I add a game that's similar to that game to make my list more visually pleasing, because it's MY list.

How to get Platinum in this game.
Step 1 - have Drobot.
Step 2 - get him to Level 10.
Step 3 - Win.
The "Can't Touch This" trophy where you have to beat one of the worst Sonic bosses of all time without taking any damage can eat an entire ass.
You can knock this Platinum out in a day if you set your mind to it.
Getting the Platinum of this game took almost 76 hours and a good 6 of those hours were spent looking for rare drops for the alchemy trophy. Would not recommend unless you have a good podcast.
Currently my rarest Platinum because I played the PS3 version, which is riddled with game-breaking bugs. My save file even erased itself after I got the Platinum just to teach me a lesson in humility.

I also used four controllers for "A guy called Quest" rather than deal with the very bad online.
Currently my fastest Platinum. You can get Platinum in a single afternoon if you're dedicated enough.
Important note: This game is incredibly buggy even in the current PS4 store version. Using a guide and making sure you don't trigger any game-breaking, save-restarting glitches is a must.
Pretty painless Platinum except for the two trophies tied to opposite choices in a questline's dialogue tree. Look up a guide and make note of the Astrid/Giovanni trophies, because you can get both of those in a single playthrough if you force-quit the game before it saves. If you mess this up, it takes about ten hours to get back to this point in a separate save file. Good luck.
Finding all the toybox items needed for this Platinum involves looking up forum posts from 2010 and praying. You WILL learn to hate those stunt track areas.
I would not recommend getting this Platinum if you want to still feel positive feelings towards this game. It's technically pretty doable but collecting every scrap of confetti and hidden present is Donkey Kong 64 levels of collectathon bullshit and you WILL need a guide if you want to keep your sanity.

0/10, would kill that Misplaced Gopher if the game allowed me to.

It takes about 22 hours to beat Hades. It takes about 80 hours to get the Platinum. Have fun!
This would be an incredibly easy Platinum if it wasn't for the "get to level 10 in the original Pac-Man" trophy, which will take hours of 80's arcade game AI path memorization.
There's an incredibly easy way to cheese this Platinum that involves the Watch Mode on the non-Tournament Fighter games and I chose not to use it because I wanted to actually PLAY the TMNT games.

Yes, including NES TMNT. There was a rewind feature.
PS5 version. It takes about 5-7 hours to casually Platinum this game and you're going to hate every minute of it.
This is the PS4 version of Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX; I just went with a different box art so that my list looks nice.

Currently my second fastest Platinum at 59 minutes, 52 seconds. I'm in 28th place for fastest Platinum ever.
I played this after the Sights, Sound, and Speed Update, which apparently made this Platinum a lot more bearable.
The hardest trophies will be the time trial ones (you need just a tiny bit of luck in regards to how the humans react to things) and the one soccer trophy where you have to awkwardly use your goose beak to push a ball into a goal.

Even with these hurdles, this only takes about 4-5 hours.

There are some issues with trophies popping when they're supposed to when playing on Playstation consoles, but this can be worked around by exiting and closing the game, then restarting and using the Load Game option to resume playing. Shutting off your Internet connection temporarily also seems to work.

Don't be intimidated by the fact that this is meant to be a co-op game! Beating this game and getting the Platinum is completely doable solo and manages to be pretty fun this way!
DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME IN CO-OP IF YOU'RE GOING FOR THE TROPHIES! THE TROPHIES ARE MISSABLE IF YOU DO!

The hardest part of this Platinum will be the time trials because these levels were not designed with these physics or hitboxes in mind. Here were my three least favorite levels.

1. The High Road (the pill-shaped hitbox HATES this level)
2. Fumbling in the Dark
3. Native Fortress
The time trials for those levels where the boulder/bear is chasing you and you have to run towards the camera are pure ass and I hate them.

The worst box gems:
Piston It Away
Cold Hard Crash

The worst time trials:
Any Polar level
Any level where Crash is running towards the camera
Piston It Away
Hangin' Out
This is the PS4 version of My Little Pony: A Maretime Bay Adventure. I just went with the merge game for the pretty box art.

Currently my fastest Platinum at 52 minutes, 2 seconds and I'm currently at 28th place on the fastest platinum leaderboard.
In my defense, it was included in my PS Plus subscription.

Game is relatively stable and free of glitches for a TT Lego game; just make sure not to break any benches in Bricksburg before obtaining Batman.
In my defense, it was free and I thought the trophy icons were cute.
The "Beat a level without destroying a single robot" trophy is way harder than it looks and most of your playtime will be getting this one trophy and replaying the same level over and over and over.
To find every green signal in one playthrough for the Platinum, you need to go on the Steam Community page and read the only game guide, which is in Portuguese.

Do NOT think "oh, I'm observant enough, I can find them on my own!". That's The Devil talking and you'll end up like me and you'll have to do a second playthrough of this entire game again.
Oh no! This game is BUGGY! (laugh track)

...no seriously, this game often resets your progress on things like Total Distance Covered and Total Pollen Collected, making this Platinum way harder (and more annoying) than it looks. I had to hold Up on the controller while doing other things to get the To Infinity And Beyond Trophy.

First Platinum of 2024! And it's one of those 3D platformer games where the last 1% of the game is the most mind-destroying hunt for that last, lousy collectible they stuck in the corner of the map somewhere!
For the Artful Gambit trophy, I basically did New Game+ twice. The first run went all the way up to Stormcaller, and then the second run ended at Elder Mist. This will be the most annoying trophy in the game even with the option to speed up the text.
I love that you can hit Platinum on this game with a save file that reads 60% completion. I love that I don't need to collect every monkey to Plat the PSP version of this game. (because it has bad controls and sucks bad)

SPECIFIC TIPS FOR HITTING PLATINUM

1. The Flying Fox can be found on the ceilings in caves. You will walk right past a few while doing the treasure hunting sidequest.
2. There is a very specific combo you can do in the Diving Challenges that cheeses every single one. Do one backflip and then one front flip and then let go of R2.
3. Dugongs can be found near docks.
4. The braided trinket that you THINK is glitched in the city is actually on top of a crane that's very high above your head.
5. You can store birds in your backpack for later.
SPECIFIC TIPS FOR HITTING PLATINUM

1. Just play this amazing game normally, exploring and having fun in the Dark Bramble with the horrible anglerfish, and save the "do it all in one loop" trophy for last. Just back up your save beforehand.
2. The hardest trophy will be landing your ship on the Sun Station. Even if you watch a video guide, this will take multiple tries. Maybe even dozens of times.
3. You need to launch something with BOTH Gravity Cannons for the Archaeologist trophy. The two Gravity Cannons have a duplicate entry. This is what got my trophy to pop.
4. For the Quantum Moon encounter, you have to mix blue stones together and orange stones together. You're not restricted to just blue stone + orange stone. This will unlock an entry for the Archaeologist trophy.

Playing this game froze my PS5 once. Was it worth it? A little.
The guide on PSNProfiles is definitely the best one for this. Playstationtrophies (a similar site) gets several details wrong.
How to do a "full power launch" every time - HOLD R1, while still holding R1 ALSO HOLD L1, and then ONLY release L1.
PS5 version.
SPECIFIC TIPS FOR HITTING PLATINUM!

1. For "No Argument Here", if you exit the game right when you die, it won't save and count your death. But you have to do it quick.
2. Just ignore getting the tea leaves and the magic candle after the game turns into a Metroidvania for I Swear It's My First Time. The candle doesn't count for anything AND voids a trophy.
3. Watch a video guide for the I Swear It's My First Time trophy and even then, it'll take you several tries to do it.
4. Bait Taken, Fine, I Won't Open It, and You Said This Was A Platformer are all Missable but if you follow a guide, you won't miss their cues.
You can do the Platinum on one save file if you back up your save and don't destroy or corrupt any of the Elder Shards.

Collect all the Shards, destroy the final boss, back up your save onto the cloud, turn off sync, do the "destroy all shards" ending, load your save from the cloud, and then do the "corrupt all abilities" ending.

This is I Am Dead PS4 version.

I just went with Hohokum's box art to represent this game because they share Richard Hogg as a main artist.
