I gotta get into some Layton again. I really miss those games coming out every fall, I used to play them on nice autumn-y walks around the neighborhood

My DS's hinges started breaking last year and it made me sad, we really need to start getting replacement systems or something that can do the two screen gimmick since it's so whack trying to play these games elsewhere, and it feels like every DS is on it's way out now.

@Vee hoping I can outlast that problem by virtue of having a bunch of them - even though I wouldn't call myself a hardcore console collector, I for some reason took it upon myself to get every DS/3DS variant, just cause they're cool -> https://i.imgur.com/KTiSBiO.jpeg Only one I'm missing is a New 2DS XL and ... it is so annoying how expensive those are now.

@Vee even with all the backups though my original 2005 Mario Kart bundle DS Fat is still working perfectly even though I played the shit out of it and used it as an alarm clock for 10+ years. Actually the only one to fail was the newest one, New 3DS XL. Got battery bloat and had to replace it.

@DSJCheddar yooooo, that fuckin' rules. The red 3DS looks so good, the black DS lite is the one that broke for me. I swear those are the worst built ones, and of course my silver launch year phat is the one that's no longer in my collection. --
