Oh my god there are so many good games here you need to play. Fallout New Vegas, Pathologic, the metal gear games (Including rising) and Dragon Age are especially underlined for me. The first 3 of those are just...revolutionary games and are so good. Fair warning, New Vegas takes a bit of time to get into but god later on it gets fantastic. Dragon age is a personal favourite for me and I adore the first game.

@Sanguine Oh yeah, I definitely gotta start playing some of these titles. At the moment, I've been binging on nostalgia (Paper Mario at the moment) just because it gives me a feeling of comfort, but I do want to get into these gems. I am working on Ghost Trick at the moment and I've been thinking about playing MGS2 next. I'm really into games that break conventions and leave lasting impressions (Like Killer7), so I'm looking forward to checking them out.

I think in the last five-ish years, I haven't been playing enough titles like these for whatever reason. It might've started when I began making reviews on Darkstation and Youtube lol. I was probably re-invigorated when I started recording all the games I've beaten in these Backloggd lists. (They go all the way back to 2012) It's a nice little history.

Yeah I dont have anything like that in terms of history list because I've been so all over the place really with games hehe. But yeah if you like lasting impressions, MGS2 and 3 are your games, they are legendary for it. I also recommend playing MGS1 if you haven't played that yet since I thought that one was also pretty good. Though its a bit dated obviously

@Sanguine Oh that's nice. I am pretty excited to check out MGS2 and 3. I played MGS1 like half a decade ago and I wasn't too into it, so I'm hoping that the sequels appeals to me more. I did like the story of MGS1 though, pretty memorable.

Yeahhh thats fair, its way of playing is a bit dated I suppose. The sequels are similar in the way they play but much more updated I think. Like you can go first person at points and of course the graphics are much better. The story's in those two games are some of the best of all time for me.

@Sanguine Yeah it felt a little clunky to me back when I played it. I didn't really grow up with the PSX, so the gameplay didn't really feel too familiar to me. I might revisit the original MGS once I play all the other ones. Yeah, I look forward to playing MGS2/3, especially since Kojima is considered one of the great gaming auteurs
