Just a personal ranking of every game I played this past gen that I can think of at the moment

I am well aware the updated version of this game came out on 7th gen hardware, but it originally released on the 3DS which is 8th gen, so I'm counting it
Royal content is easily top 5, but I still have to play vanilla P5 to get to it
