The Decisive Collision - Takahiro Unisuga
I don't even care for Trails as much I used to, but I love these Trance masterpieces that much.

Blue Destination - Takahiro Unisuga
This debuts before the final boss sequence so I'm breaking my rules a bit for this one
but it's basically The Decisive Collision's sister song anyways

overrated af. I don't even want to put it here but just so some people don't get bothered I'll at least give it an honourable mention and explain:
I mostly just like the proggy parts, those are pretty good. but a lot of the song otherwise? it's just bloated with generic melodies and it's really just 4 different songs stitched together with transitions that really aren't that interesting. Blizzard Island Medley from PMD2 is the gold standard of transitions between very different sounding sections of a song. DM doesn't even come close. even a lot of Sakuraba or Uematsu himself has prog rock battle music that's more memorable and boppable than Dancing Mid to me. idk just overtime I've gotten increasingly tired seeing how many praise this song like it's the gold standard for video game battle music. idc if most RPG fans love this song, but I am begging them to at least listen to & appreciate the rest of this list and give them some deserved credit instead of praising DM like it's the Mona Lisa of VGM for the 100th time.
