Never had the chance to play 1! Grew up with 2 and played 3 later on, but haven't really played 1 outside of a couple levels at someone's house. Maybe someday I'll check it out, but I don't really feel the need considering everything I've seen about it makes it look like its just a not as good version of 2.

@wowgoodname YES. Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon is such a good blend of 3D platforming and Zelda-style dungeons and overworld. One of those N64 titles that seems very easy to overlook despite how much I'm sure anyone whose a fan of N64 games would love it.

Greatly respect how high up Sonic Adventure 1 is.
Can't say the same about Heroes's position, although I do acknowledge that it's occasionally unstable and forces you into four separate playthroughs, the core design and core mechanics I think are pretty strong, bosses notwithstanding.

@Nightblade Jimmy Neutron fans have Attack of the Twonkies, they'll be fine.

@SunlitSonata Sonic Heroes is due for a replay, honestly. Every time I tried playing it in the past I left extremely frustrated and unsatisfied, but watching other people play it has given me some perspective on what about it fans like about it, and maybe I'll be able to focus more on that.
