Okay so I know I already made a change from my bi-yearly top 50 list to top 100 at the start of the month, but now I've decided to just go all in and make it a top 250 popularised by IMDB, and only update it yearly. Since I intend to do these on the 1st of January of each month, I'm not counting any games I've played since then for fairness.

Do note that due to the huge size of the list, not every game on here is really one of my favourites. In fact it's like almost 1/2 of all games I've ever played (when accounting for rules of games that don't count, seen below). But I wanna make the template now since the whole point is to be able to look back on it in years time and see what changed.

No more pseudo one-per-series rule. The only things that are not counted are DLCs and bundles (unless the games in the bundles are unique in some way). Remasters/light remakes/ports/expanded games etc will be 1 game per version, unless I feel there's a big enough difference between them to include both.
