Video Game Canon 5.0 Top 100
The Video Game Canon is a statistical meta-analysis of 66 Best Video Games of All Time lists that were published between 1995 and 2020. John Scalzo, one of the co-founders of Warp Zoned and a game journalist for more than 20 years, has maintained the Video Game Canon since it was founded in 2017.
This is an unofficial reproduction of the list as it was posted in October 2021, sorted in ascending order of C-Score. (Games with high rankings that appear in many lists have the lowest C-Score.) Games with multiple remakes or revisions are condensed to a single entry based on my own best guess of the version that's easiest to access and best to play today--with the exception of compilation releases.
