A game that has remained with me since 2008, it’s the game that introduced me to so much. I love the art deco style and ahh…I just want to live in Rapture (if it weren’t crazy and based on Ayn Rand)
The game focuses around the ideas of objectivism and Randian philosophy and hold a mirror up to them. Rapture is the main character and due to the streamlined RPG elements, you’ll get to completely immerse yourself in its watery depths.
Would you kindly play this game?

A game that was introduced to me very late, but I fell in love with it and consider it one of the greatest. Gave me a love affair with Valves games. One of the finest FPS and story. The gameplay loop is deep and so fun, it never lets up. I wish more games were made with such love.
My last name is Freeman so it was always great having characters refer to me correctly.
One thing that I really love, and wish more games have, is that the world, is happening around the player. It’s from your viewpoint at all times, it feels organic.
A historical masterpiece

My favourite immersive sim, I’ve sunk too many hours to count on this game. Todays AAA games could learn a thing or two.
Plus JC Denton is a bloody badass. This game came out in 2000 and foreshadowed so much.

A haunting experience that I still think about often. It’s really unforgiving and its entry level is high, but honestly don’t let that put you off. It’s a work of art!
Enjoy your stay on the Von Braun.

Greatest MGS game
The game dumps you in the jungle and you’re badly outnumbered and outgunned. Paired with incredible boss battles, fun and at times quirky gameplay, a soundtrack that will take out your heartstrings!

First real game I beat with my dad, it forever lives in my heart. The start of the game still brings me to tears.

I could talk about this game for hours, one of the best stealth experiences ever and even today, puts modern games to shame.

An extremely important game to me, really helped shape who I am today. Its themes about memes and identity and the nature of truth really changed the way I see the world.
The game itself is fun with deep gameplay and beautifully written characters and some crazy moments. Still has HK unique style of humour and intelligence.

Led me to reading all of the books, fell in love with the world and its characters. It’s truly one of the best games of the 2010s

Got it for Christmas 2005 and I’ve been playing it ever since. Truly a grandfather to modern games.

My first HL game, and still to this day looks fantastic. I never get bored of traveling through City 17. Fuck the Combine!

A work of pure art, so much to unpack with this game HK truly proved himself a master of his craft. The atmosphere in the original is perfect compared to the remake.

I know every inch of this game, it’s the best Hitman game and a pure gem.

Still looks gorgeous today, gameplay is more refined than the previous two and is the magnum opus of the SC series. The soundtrack lives rent free in my mind, I have so many fond memories of this game and still play it once a year.

The first RE game that I beat (with a guide) I was young. Moving the story to Racoon City was a stroke of genius, it feels like playing a George A. Romero film. Utterly frightening and super fun to play!

Played late, hated myself for waiting for so long. This game is so beautifully made that it’s not even funny, it’ll make you laugh so hard and cry just the same.
Just play it
