My favorite 100 video game of all time.
This is my person favorite top 100 games of all time. (If there is a remake or remastered game I will pick my favorite of the two if they are similar
(Example Final Fantasy VI pixel Remaster or Metroid Prime remaster) if they are wildly different I can put them both on (Final Fantasy 7). I’m also not including FF 7 remake, rebirth, and unnamed part 3 as separate games as I don’t want FF7 taking 3 and probably eventually a 4th slot in my top 100z

To explain how I came up with the list. I give points for importance and relevance in the medium, art, music, gameplay, story, if it delivers on what it was trying to do, and by far most importantly my personal feeling and experiences with the game. Also individual things like if it is a platformer how well are the levels laid out and are the controls tight. If it’s story based how well did they convey it, how grand was it (if going for that) did it touch me personally. If it is horror how well was the horror done. Did it really induce fear or was it artificial jump scares.
Then my ultimate tie breaker is if two games are completely equal which would I be more sad if it was never made and all my memories of it were gone.
This list means a lot to me as I truly love games, they are my passion and these are the games that made me fall in love with the medium! Thank you for checking out my list!

Judged off of vanilla version through season 4. If I was counting this in its current state it would not even make the list. This was the hardest game to place due to this reason

I’m not adding rebirth to the list simply because it is part 2.l of this game and don’t want 3 FF7 games (with a 4th coming) all in the top 10. For the record Rebirth would be 2nd and this would be 3rd if I did include them.

Completely agree. I love checking out what games make people tick. Knowing they love games as much as me but our experiences are so different and unique. There are no right or wrong answers just games that shaped us and that’s what I love about video games.

Maybe 7-8 of these would be on my list but then many of the games here I've never even played XD
